Grower Space
In Collaboration with Mather’s High School

This is a collaborative project with Stephen T. Mather Building Arts & Craftsmanship High School, a CTE school founded with the National Park Service. Located within the historic landscape of Fort Jay on Governors Island, the project includes a master plan for teaching, planting, tool storage, and public events. Modular elements—such as portable seating, planter beds with rainwater collection, and cold frames—support flexible use. Centered on reversibility, durability, and co-design, the project values student voices and creates a space for hands-on learning, community engagement, and climate adaptation.
